Grange monthly meetings are held at 6pm on the first Thursday of each month, meetings are public and anyone may come. Join in, be part of the Bodega Bay Grange!
A flea market is held at the Grange one Saturday per month during summer and fall. Contact Shirley at (707) 494-4048 for details or to arrange a table.
Annual gatherings include our legendary crab Cioppino event, serving all-you-can eat feasts to sell-out crowds of more than 550 people. Information on our next event, held on the Sunday of Presidents Day weekend in February, can be found on our “Cioppino” page.
Other annual events include a Hitchcock Film Festival, sponsored by the Bodega Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and an August book sale benefiting the Bodega Bay Elementary School PTA.
The Grange is also used for a wide variety of public meetings, town halls and private events.
Perhaps our most important role in the Bodega Bay community is that played in disaster response.
The Hall is a designated Red Cross disaster relief facility/shelter, a Sonoma County designated Tsunami Evacuation Site, and is a member of COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disaster).
During disaster response we work closely with Bodega Bay Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Sonoma County Fire Department.
A free food pantry, organized by Waves of Compassion Foundation, has been operating at the Grange Hall since 2018. It is a drive-through system where individuals and families receive several bags of food on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The pantry serves local people who live or work in the coastal communities of Bodega Bay, Bodega, Valley Ford, and Jenner. The pantry will be temporarily relocated during the 2022 construction at the Grange. Check www.wavesofcompassionfoundation.org for details.
